What is HUD exactly?

HUD serves as Fonality's flag-ship software application bringing all of the power and control of a traditional operator switchboard to your desktop.

Using HUD, Fonality customers have the ability to:

  • See the current status of other employees (on the phone or off, available for chat, type of current call, etc.)
  • Drag-and-drop to transfer calls
  • Double-click to leave a voicemail
  • Send SMS
  • View Call Queue Statistics
  • Check their own Voicemail
  • Much, much more...

All of the options listed above are permissible via the Extensions --> groups tab of the PBXtra Admin Panel.  Administrators can control virtually every aspect of the HUD Client with one exception:  HUD Chat is available for everyone and cannot be turned off.
